Serpas Assessments, Inc. is a Private Pay clinic, but is insurance friendly.

A Good Faith Estimate of the range of costs will be provided to you after a discussion about your concerns and the scope of the services requested.

The cost for the assessment is based on the type of service, an hourly rate, and the amount of time spent conducting the intake, assessment, data analysis, report writing, parent feedback, and student feedback.

You have the responsibility for paying the balance in-full on the day of service. Payments may be made via cash or check. This office is not set up for credit cards or electronic payments.  Dr. Serpas does not submit claims to insurance companies.

Some families like to use their HSAs . You may look into this possibility.

You may file a claim with your insurance company if you choose to do so. Serpas Assessments, Inc. will provide you with the appropriate paperwork, including diagnostic codes, procedural codes, and dates of services with which you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Reimbursement or coverage is never guaranteed. Contact your insurance carrier for more information about your out-of-network and non-preferred provider benefits and inquire about the possibility of reimbursement, given your plan.
